Webinar “The impact of Covid-19 on contracts” 26.05.2020 and 01.07.2020

Alexander Dovles was the sole speaker at the webinar “The impact of Covid-19 on contracts” held by Nomiki Vivliothiki, on May 26th, 2020. The purpose of the seminar was to present the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on contracts and as well as to examine relevant solutions provided by key concepts of Greek private law, such as “impossibility of performance without fault”, “delay of performance without fault”, “unforeseen change of circumstances”, “performance in good faith” and other. Furthermore, specific problems and custom solutions were discussed for the most basic contract types, such as sales and purchase, commercial lease agreements, leasing, construction and works contracts, contracts in the tourist industry and other. Due to a lot of requests the seminar was repeated in a phygital form on July 1st, 2020.
