Saplegal advises Piraeus Bank on the completion of Project Solar 2

Ou firm advised Piraeus Bank S.A. on the completion of Project Solar 2, involving the transfer of a portfolio of non-performing corporate exposures through securitization.

The Portfolio, with a total gross book value of approximately €300 million as of 31 December 2024, consisted of corporate loans, including bond loans and other receivables, and was part of the broader “Project Solar” joint initiative of Greece’s four systemic banks to manage non-performing corporate claims.
