Saplegal advises Onassis Foundation and Ariona Hellas on the Public Onassis Schools initiative

We are proud to have acted as legal advisors to the Onassis Foundation and Ariona S.A. in the implementation of the Onassis Public Schools initiative, launched within the framework of the Onassis Foundation’s donation to the Greek State, ratified by Law 5174/2025.

With a strong social focus, the Onassis Public Schools aim to upgrade public education, particularly in areas facing social and economic challenges, by creating inclusive, creative, and forward-looking learning environments.

All schools will operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, and Sports, with a dedicated Governing Committee safeguarding the credibility and quality of their educational work.

We are honored to have contributed our legal expertise to such a pioneering project that redefines public education in Greece.
