14th Panhellenic Congress of Lawyers of Legal Services - The in-house lawyer as a risk manager workshop

Our partner Alexander Dovles and our Senior Associate Mantha Varela, together with Konstantina Schiza, Senior Associate, Group Legal Director of Kaizen Gaming participated as speakers in the 14th Panhellenic Congress of Lawyers of Legal Services, which was held on June 29th- 30th, 2022 by Nomiki Vivliothiki and the Economia Group in collaboration with the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACCE) and under the auspices of the Athens Bar Association (DSA) and the Association of Salaried Lawyers.
In particular, Alexander, Mantha and Μs Schiza, examined in the workshop "The in-house lawyer as a risk manager: The management of contractual risk and the management of litigation, especially after the pandemic" how the in-house lawyer can balance the need to pursue the commercial goals of the company, and at the same time to ensure protection against legal risks, and under what conditions the red lines remain beneficial when negotiating contracts.
