Litigation on priority of Greek or English Courts proceedings

We have been advising a Greek origin ship owner relating to a case brought before the English Courts relating to a dispute on whether Greek or English Courts proceedings had priority in accordance with the applicable national legislations and the Brussels Convention on a contractual dispute. The English Courts ruled in favour of the plaintiff and the case was reported in Lloyd’s Law Reports.
