Settlement procedure before the HCC

Our firm represented a client in a settlement procedure (Διαδικασία Διευθέτησης Διαφορών) that took place before the Greek Hellenic Competition Commission, pursuant to article 25(a) of the Greek Competition Act 3959/2011.

Particularly, our firm represented a major Greek distributor of printed press in a dispute resolution process before the HCC following an ex officio investigation of the HCC into the press distribution market regarding the violation of Articles 1 and 2 of Greek Competition Act 3959/2011 and Articles 101 and 102 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) through the involvement of our client, along with the second major distributor in the Greek market, in anti-competitive collusions and concerted practices with a view to agreeing a common trading and pricing policy, the restriction of quantity of supply and the distribution of customers in the press distribution market.
